Refund Return Policy
Online orders are shipped with information regarding exchanges and refunds. All refunds and exchanges require an original receipt, your name, and your order number to process. Please contact us if you have lost your receipt. All returns must adhere to the General Information guidelines found below. Unsure? Contact Us.
Returns-via-mail can be sent with original receipt to:

Once you have passed the college's screening requirements, please bring your receipt and goods to either Fennel Campus room C068, or Stoney Creek Campus room A124.
If you cannot gain access to campus:
Customers who cannot gain access to Fennel Campus can drop off returns using the yellow Security 'buzzer box' intercom, outside of the entrance closest to the Short Term P2 parking lot. These packages must be clearly labelled 'BuyTheBook Returns' and include your original receipt.
Enter the campus off of West 5th Street onto Governor's Blvd. The second right will enter Short Term Parking P2.
All refunds are subject to the condition of the materials being returned.
Textbooks may be returned up until 5 weeks have elapsed from the first day of classes each semester. Books purchased after this time frame will be FINAL SALE: Non Returnable/Refundable.
In order to be eligible for refund, textbooks must be in new condition, not defaced in any way or unwrapped, dirty, or with bent spines or covers. Re-stocking fees may apply.
All custom courseware & kits are non-refundable. Please ensure you are purchasing the correct custom courseware and/or kit.
All publisher defects are subject to a straight exchange.
Access Codes, once opened or redeemed, cannot be returned.
Supplies, Clothing & Giftware:
An original sales receipt from the Mohawk College Campus Stores must accompany all items being returned. A full refund will be issued within 30 days of the original purchase.
In order to be eligible for refund; supplies, clothing, and giftware must be in new unused condition. Worn, washed, opened or used items are non refundable/exchangeable. Tags must remain on clothing.
Refunds will not be authorized on discontinued or clearance merchandise.
